I finally broke through the $200 barrier this month! My total dividend income for February totaled $207.52 making this my highest dividend total ever. This is a slight improvement over last quarter where I earned $193.80 in November and it is far more than I earned last year in February where I earned $126.21. You can see all of my dividend income here.
This adds over $200 that I can use for my next purchase which looks like it will be around mid month. I'm still not sure what I'm going to buy just yet but I have my eye on a few stocks including PEP and KMI. Well see how things shape up until then.

AT&T (T) - From .45 to .46

Hey IS, nice to have you here. I really like how a chart like this lays out the information graphically rather than trying to digest a set of numbers. I like your site BTW iIl have to add it to my blogroll when I get a chance.
DeleteCaptain,
ReplyDeleteAwesome stuff. Congrats on breaking through $200 for the first time! That's a great milestone. It's onward and upward. You'll be breaking through $300 before you know it. :)
Best regards.
Thanks DM, your quite an inspiration for a lot of us and I hope to reach that $300 gold soon !
DeleteHi CD,
ReplyDelete200 USD in only one month - that is a good result!
I have received 83 EUR - but better than nothing! :-)
And AT&T (I have also AT&T) - I think they will increase their dividend every year - but only 0,01 USD... Not very good... :-(
Best regards!
D-S
I hear you on AT&T but I went in to my purchase of AT&T knowing they dividend growth would be anemic. It makes up for a lot of that slow growth with that initial high yield. Most of my other stocks do have a higher dividend growth rate but they don't have that same high entry yield. I think it's fine to have a mix of both.
DeleteLove the rise in that dividend income chart! The snowball is building momentum sir! I think KMI and PEP are both good options, with KMI looking very nice given the continued market pressure with no fundamental changes.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, there's been a lot of negativity about the KMI partnership that has created quite a nice buying opportunity for us investors.
DeleteHi Captain
ReplyDeleteCongrats on breaking, keep it up and going!
Best wishes DH
Thanks DH !
DeleteCongrats on breaking $200. keep it up.
ReplyDeleteOhh yea, up up and away from here. Best of luck FF
DeleteKeep chippin' away Cap'n, the chart is going in the right direction, a few more years and you'll be looking back and going wow :)
ReplyDeletecheers
T
Thanks for the encouragement, that chart should be looking sweet in a few years for sure ! :-o
DeleteCongrats on dividend payout milestone! It feels great, I know the feeling well since I was in your spot not too long ago. Hey, good job!
ReplyDeleteIt does feel good, it's a bit of a slow process but it will get faster and faster as things compound and those dividend raises roll in. Thanks for stopping by Vet
DeleteHello! Great work on $200 in a month! I can't wait to get to that point!! Your portfolio is growing fast and I'm really liking following along. I've also been eyeing KMI and PEP. I already have KMI and want to add, but it's a super small portfolio and am trying to diversify into other companies. I might just have to add anyway. I'm excited to hear what you pick next and wishing you another great month of dividends!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Ryan, KMI is looking really attractive here for me and I'd really like to get some but this month it had to wait since I just bought PEP.
DeleteGreat work! Im doing the same as you, charting my dividend progress. Hopefully one day Ill have enough monthly dividends to retire. Have you considered opening a Roth IRA and putting some of your regular dividend payers in that? That way your earnings are not taxed when you take them out. Takes some of the bite out of those REITS that pay such a nice dividend.
ReplyDeleteI honestly haven't thought too much about that to be honest. One day I will have to look in to that.
